TP-LINK Response to China′s sichuan Earthquake and gives a warm hand

TP-LINK Technologies Co., Ltd. ("TP-LINK"), a global provider of SOHO networking products and No.1 market share holder in China, responded to China´s Sichuan earthquake and actively participated in the earthquake relief efforts.

The grief and sufferings of affected people have resonated deeply with TP-LINK. The company donated RMB2 million (approximately USD285, 700) by Red Cross Society of China, meanwhile employees have also been busy making voluntary donations. Mr. Jeffrey Zhao, Director of TP-LNK International Business, especially contributed a total of RMB500, 000 (approximately USD71, 400) completely by himself, which shows his warm-heart and high responsibility of the society to the affacted people in the disaster areas.

A severe earthquake measured at a magnitude of 7.8 hit Sichuan Province, China on May 12th 2008. Afflicted areas were completely battered and over 55, 000 people have died, more than 280,000 have injured and nearly 25, 000 have missed up to 19:00 22nd May according to the Official Statistic by Chinese Government. Chinese soldiers and humanitarian groups have mobilized to help the many children and adults affected by this disaster.
